After waking from an attack in my dream I asked the holy spirit “please help me what can I do to stop these attacks?” That’s when I heard the Holy spirit tell me in that still quite voice “ read psalms 91”. As I was reading the verse over and over again I saw a vision of myself grabbing a jug of water and pouring it on my head and my hair was getting unbraided. I knew in that moment the word I was declaring over myself was cleansing and undoing the work of the enemy. Then the Holy spirit brought the word of Ephesians 5:26 to my heart “That he might sanctify and cleanse us with the washing of water by the word.” I realized in the that moment why the devil works so hard to distract and keep us from reading the bible. the word is like water that cleanses and purifies our spirit.
When the word enters your heart.
Our heart is the field where words get planted and begin to bear fruit. Everything we experience comes from the state of our heart. When the word of God enter the heart than all darkness has to flee. In the spiritual realm the word is light. For example if we are getting attacked by demons all one has to do is find a word like in second corinthians 5:17
“ therefore, if anyone is in christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come”. You have to keep standing on the word of GOD. Meaning you have to repeat it to yourself over and over again until its in your subcontious. This is how we build our faith. Romans 10:17 “ So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD”. Faith once it has become fully mature than it has to manifest. The word has entered our heart when we can hear it in the echo of our subcontious. Ready to be released at any moment with out thought. Thats usually a sign the word has entered your heart.
The word is a sword
The word once it has sunk into your heart is becomes a sword, your spirit can use to defend itself against any demon. The word is literally like a lightsaber cutting through any darkness. Sickness, negative thoughts, poverty. GOD has a word for everything we face in life. Darkness has no power over light. Hebrews 4:12 tells us the word of God is a sword and disconnects us from anything that is attached to our soul and spirit. Hebrews 4:12 “ For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joint and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.The word of God knows whats in our heart. As we read the word it will expose whats in our heart. It will disconnect us from any darkness that has entered our soul. The kingdom of darkness can only operate in darkness but when Light comes darkness has to leave. As long as we are filled with light which is the word of GOD than the enemy can’t penetrate. It wasn’t enough to read the word just once I had to read it until it got deep into my heart.
